    I fell in love with this place the first time I stayed there and there's no other place I'll stay in Florence. Funny enough, I found it on the internet and fell in love with the courtyard views! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts.

  5. It's funny to see how many people have discovered & now appreciate this hotel which I lived next door to while studying in Florence in the early '70's! Back then the Mona Lisa was a tired-looking rather run-down pensione but with old-world charm neveetheless,, especially that beautiful courtyard. Great to hear that you love it, Jeff!

I am so happy it's not the rundown building you describe above anymore...thank goodness. It's the only place I will stay in Florence!
